IX ARTISTIC RESIDENCE FOR GOOD LIVING

The Mutur Beltz family is pleased to announce the new exhibition linked to the IX Buen Vivir Artistic Residency , held in Karrantza during the summer of 2025.

The exhibition brings together the results of this creative collaboration in which art, territory, and rural life intertwine. Participating are Niño de Elche, Ernesto Artillo, Regina Quesada, Marie Isabelle Poirier Troyano, and Patrick Fossey , along with the Abestiko Lagunak women's choir and the local community. The program was rounded out by the "Art and Pastoral" workshops, featuring Elena Fabeiro.
(Galicia Crafts Foundation) and Mariano Gómez, veterinarian and expert in the conservation of Carranzana sheep.

The exhibition can be visited from October 20 to 31 at the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts (UPV/EHU, Leioa) .

At Mutur Beltz, we're interested in situating contemporary creation in a rural context, addressing realities such as the disappearance of native breeds, materials, and ways of life. More than an exhibition, El Buen Vivir is a way to continue weaving. Between the visible and the barely audible, Mutur Beltz maintains a space where creating is caring, and caring is also resisting.
