The CAP Network has designed this event to promote conservation agriculture and combat desertification by connecting national projects aimed at improving soil health and , consequently, the retention and conservation of an increasingly scarce resource: water . For the organization of this event in La Rioja, the CAP Network is collaborating with El Colletero , an organization with 25 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, agroecology, and biodiversity conservation.

Organized by:

This event is organized by the CAP Network belonging to the General Sub-Directorate of Agricultural Policy Planning, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) , in collaboration with El Colletero .

Target audience:

The event is aimed at farmers, as well as entities participating in innovative projects (AEI-Agri Operational Groups, Horizon Europe, LIFE…), technicians in the sector, research centers, cooperatives and administrations interested in learning about or implementing innovations and/or practices or forming future alliances to promote the improvement of soil health and water retention.

The event will be in person and will be held at:

  • June 16th: Venta Moncalvillo .   Medrano Road, 6, 26373, Daroca de Rioja, La Rioja

  • June 17th: Municipality of Nalda (La Rioja), where several farms will be visited

The organization will put   A bus service will be available to attendees on both days, departing from and arriving in Logroño.
