AMFAR DAY
“ACCESS AND USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES: CAP 2026 AND SHARED OWNERSHIP”
AMFAR.- The Federation of Women and Families in Rural Areas, with funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , is developing the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development, which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women's entities at the national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the 2025-2026 period, approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17.
This program aims to promote training activities that strengthen women's leadership in rural areas, encouraging their active participation in the economic and social development of their territories, as well as improving their working and living conditions.
Within the framework of this program, AMFAR is organizing the conference: “ACCESS AND USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES: CAP 2026 AND SHARED OWNERSHIP”, which will take place next Friday, May 22, 2026, in the Hall of the Santo Domingo de Posadas Town Hall (Ávila).
During this event, AMFAR is committed to ensuring that women know how to defend themselves against the digital environment that surrounds us, as well as how to make correct use of the new tools and applications with which we regularly work in association with the CAP 2023-2027.
With this event, AMFAR promotes the support options available to women when entering the rural labor market, through the proper use and access to new technologies, thereby reducing the existing digital divide in rural areas.
Rural women are an essential pillar in shaping the territory and combating depopulation. Their entrepreneurial spirit, capacity for innovation, and commitment to their environment are fundamental to ensuring a dynamic, competitive, and sustainable rural landscape.
With this initiative, AMFAR reaffirms its commitment to female entrepreneurship as a strategic engine for the economic and social growth of rural areas.
