On June 2nd, a training and information day will be held at Finca Los Barailes (San Bartolomé de las Abiertas, Toledo) focusing on shared ownership, generational change, aid and subsidies aimed at the agricultural sector and innovation in entrepreneurship led by women in the region.
The objectives of this day are:
- To provide specific information on the incorporation of women into the economic activity of rural areas, promoting their incorporation and the entrepreneurial initiatives of rural women through the exchange of good practices.
- To disseminate among the rural population in general, and in particular among women who live and work in rural municipalities, the changes that have occurred with the entry into force of Law 35/2011, of October 4, on Shared Ownership of Agricultural Holdings, as well as other rural development measures.
- To spread awareness of the importance of incorporating women and young people into the agricultural and livestock activities of our municipalities.
- To publicize the opportunities offered by CAP instruments for the incorporation of women and young people into agricultural activity and access to the other measures of rural development programs.
- Report on women's access to governance bodies of professional agricultural organizations and cooperatives and other entities related to agricultural activity and rural development
- To increase public awareness and knowledge about the importance of the agricultural sector by highlighting good policies and good practices implemented by women.
- To inform unemployed women in rural areas about the job opportunities and employment prospects that exist, facilitating their access to the labor market, whether through employment or self-employment.
- To inform about women's access to new technologies and their use in rural areas and to promote good practices in their application.

10:15 a.m. CAP and aid for young people. Leader funds and other aid for rural development. Speakers: Elisa Fernández López, Secretary of Organization UPA-CLM, and María Pilar Fernández Ruiz, President GDR-Montes de Toledo.
11:00 a.m. Shared ownership in agricultural holdings. Speaker: Elena Cogolludo Lancha, Gender Equality Unit, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha
11:45 a.m. From the classroom to the field: the youth revolution in the primary sector. Speaker: Jenifer Pareja Carrera, Vocational Training Teacher of Agricultural Activities, IES San Isidro, Talavera de la Reina, Toledo
13:30 - 14:00h Potential of Agriculture: Visit to pistachio and almond orchards at Finca Los Barailes. Speaker: Laura Leal Barba, young farmer
