Life IP Duero Summer Camps

The LIFE IP Duero Project is a European project to improve water management in the Duero basin, promoting sustainable, participatory solutions that can be applied to other basins. It focuses on improving aquifers, the relationship between rivers and groundwater, and restoring the natural environment and water-related heritage. The project began in 2018 and is scheduled to run until 2027. It is co-financed with LIFE funds from the European Union .

The project includes outreach and public engagement activities with the general public, water users, and the educational community. For the general public, the LIFE IP Duero project is organizing free agro-environmental camps for children ages 8 to 12 this summer, featuring activities related to water, agriculture, and livestock.
