22.03.2021. From 22 to 26 March 2021, "Rural Vision Week: Imagining the Future of Rural Europe" is being organized as part of the initiative launched by the European Commission: A Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas in Europe .
For one week, the European Network for Rural Development (ENRD ), in close cooperation with the European Commission and rural sector stakeholders from across Europe, is organizing an interactive event featuring high-level presentations and discussions, thematic workshops, side events, and a Marketplace called "Our Rural."
Virtual stand
The National Rural Network's virtual stand at the Marketplace is showcasing the work carried out by the Regional Antennas in Spain as part of the long-term vision for rural areas. The space also features interactive video clips featuring the participants in the workshops and other interested rural stakeholders, as well as other initiatives carried out by the National Rural Network to achieve a vibrant rural world.
With all the contributions and activities carried out during Rural Vision Week and the preliminary work carried out by the thematic groups at the European, national, and local levels, the process of developing the European vision is expected to culminate in the publication of a communication from the European Commission before the summer of 2021.
