New interactive website of the RRN

·        The new website of the National Rural Network (RRN) has been updated to offer greater user interaction through multiple functions.

·        In it, access to the search for aid calls and the different rural development activities will be much more visible and easy to locate.

·        The new website is launched today, Thursday, January 27th.

The World Wide Web ("the web") arrived in 1991 and is here to stay. Since then, its importance has grown to the point that a website represents the best letter of introduction for an organization or institution. It represents the corporate image and the visible face of a brand or entity.

Currently, the majority of professional searches are conducted online. Hence the importance of having a regularly updated website, both in design and content. Thus, the National Rural Network (RRN) has decided to launch a new website with much more dynamic and audiovisual content to offer greater user interaction .

This interaction has a double benefit:

  •   Quick and immediate access to information on rural development aid and activities (LEADER approach, innovation and research, rural women, environment, etc.) that the RRN promotes throughout Spain.
  •   Greater knowledge on the part of the NRN of the needs of our end users.

The new RRN website launches today, Thursday, January 27. Over the past few years—and in an effort to make the RRN website the largest and most important search engine for rural development-related activities and grants nationwide—   the bet was on:

·        Simplify information

·        Classify it better through the different themes of the NRN

·        Invest in audiovisual content

·        Improve search engines

·        Facilitate access to stored documentation

This new website has gone even further and offers:

1.     Classification of all website content around the RRN's six work themes: innovation, women, youth, combating depopulation, environment and climate change; and revitalization and entrepreneurship.

2.     Better use of audiovisual material explaining the RRN and some of the main areas it works on, such as LEADER, women, youth, and innovation .

3.     It is investing in map search engines , with the development of new viewers for:

YO.           Operational Groups and innovative projects

                           II.           Good practices

                         III.           Regional Agricultural Offices

4.     New possibilities for interaction with visitors through:

                          YO.           Bulletin board

II.           Possibility of proposing examples of projects considered “ Good Practices ” through the corresponding viewer

III.           Subscription via the website to the monthly RRN newsletter and the quarterly magazine Rural and Sustainable Development.

5.     Increased visibility of the call search engine .

New social network: Instagram

Social media is also here to stay, and in this case, to bring information to users in a faster and more concise way, which they can then expand on via the website.

Thus, the RRN has launched a new communication channel through Instagram , which joins the profiles already available on Twitter , Facebook and YouTube and accompany the launch of the new RRN website .

The goal of launching a new Instagram profile is to reach a younger audience, which today demands more visual and dynamic content and is primarily focused on social networks like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch.
