- Professional agricultural organizations, rural women's organizations, and associations and organizations representing the agricultural, livestock or forestry sectors, among others, may be beneficiaries of these aids.
On May 5, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food published in the Official State Gazette an excerpt of the order announcing grants for multiregional training programs for rural professionals for 2022, with a budget of €1,973,159.19.
According to the regulatory bases for these subsidies, the following may be eligible for these grants: general and national professional agricultural organizations; national rural women's organizations; associations and organizations representing the agricultural, livestock, or forestry sectors; private entities dedicated to training, for profit or non-profit; and other entities that generate and maintain employment in rural areas.
Applications
Applications for these grants may be submitted within a maximum period of 20 business days , starting from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official State Gazette (BOE), on the Ministry's electronic site.
The main objective of training grants in rural areas is to expand the knowledge and skills of professionals in this field. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish training programs that update and strengthen professional skills, thus ensuring their adaptation to the demands of sustainable development in rural areas, increasing their competitiveness, and improving employment and job opportunities.
Information day
To clarify any questions regarding the new features of the 2022 call, the ministry plans to hold an informational meeting with interested entities on May 19 (at its headquarters at Gran Vía de San Francisco, 4-6), upon request in accordance with the instructions published on the ministry's website.
