AMCAE Conference: Women as Key Players in the Cooperative Economic Model: Legal Keys and Social Challenges for Women in Andalusian Agri-Food Cooperation.

As part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food grant for activities of special interest to promote the role of women in rural development, the Association of Women of Agri-Food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) will implement a program of actions in which social, economic, and technological innovation will take center stage.

This event aims to strengthen the role of women cooperative members in the Andalusian agri-food sector by offering them a space for training, dialogue, and empowerment. Through an analysis of current regulations and key social challenges, such as access to representation, work-life balance, and generational renewal, the event seeks to enhance their active participation in developing a more fair, sustainable, egalitarian, and inclusive cooperative movement.
