The General Directorate of Forest Policy and Natural Areas of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Development is organizing a training course on Forest Health in Castilla-La Mancha, aimed at both the Environmental Agents Corps of the Regional Government and staff who manage forest land for local authorities or individuals.
The objectives focus on:
- Update the most important general concepts of forest health
- Conceptual framework and status of quarantine agencies
- Update, detection and control criteria for the main forest pests and diseases that affect the region's forests
- Knowledge of current legislation on the matter
- Organization and methodology of early damage detection inspections in the region
- Dissemination of new developments in evaluation and monitoring.

One edition will be held per province , beginning on February 27 in Cuenca and ending on May 10 in Guadalajara, with the following schedule:
CUENCA: February 27 and 28 and March 1
CIUDAD REAL: March 6, 7 and 8
ALBACETE: April 10, 11 and 12
TOLEDO: April 17, 18 and 19
GUADALAJARA: May 8, 9 and 10
