On November 28th, the National Rural Network is organizing the conference "Rural Development and Outdoor Activities: Experiences and Best Practices" to highlight the contribution of mountain sports and outdoor activities to promoting economic diversification in rural areas.

Our rural areas require measures to promote entrepreneurship and retain the population in rural areas, to which mountain sports and outdoor activities can contribute positively.

Aware of this potential, the National Rural Network and the Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing (FEDME) have launched a conference aimed at informing rural communities and the various public administrations about successful experiences that contribute to promoting the sustainable development of areas with significant ecological values, which are the key to these regions.
