July 26, 2019. The ENRD has launched a campaign on its various social media channels to encourage both those who live in the villages and those who are now increasing their visits to capture the many facets of the continent's rural environment, such as nature, the lives of its people, the economic activities of its inhabitants, and more. All you have to do is take a snapshot and post it on your social media account with a hashtag, until September 15th. You could be featured in an upcoming European publication.

The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) has launched a new initiative to highlight all the values associated with rural areas in the European Union , using a camera lens and social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram). The key is that anyone who visits any corner of the villages, landscapes, people, and different perspectives of rural areas can do so .

The "European Rural" campaign aims, above all, to make the rural environment visible from the perspective of the people who live there , but also from the perspective of those who intensify their visits during the holiday period to portray the multiple facets of the continent's rural environment , such as nature, the lives of its people, the economic activities of its inhabitants, etc.

The method is simple :

  • Share your photos on your social networks (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) with the hashtag #RuralEurope .
  • Tag the corresponding @ENRD_CP account .
  • You have until September 15 to share the snapshots.
  • The selected photos will be published in the next issue of ENRD’s Rural Connections magazine.

Periodically, the National Rural Network , like the rest of the European National Networks , has been publishing calls to encourage participation on its Twitter and Facebook accounts.
