The National Rural Network has published a procurement guide for Local Action Groups (LAGs), aimed at helping these entities gain a thorough understanding of the application of current public sector contract law in their specific situations.

This collection of 25 best practices features entrepreneurial experiences from newcomers—people who decided to leave the urban environment and settle in rural areas. The protagonists share first-person accounts of the advantages and obstacles of starting a business in rural areas, as well as their motivations for taking this step.
